She was leader of the 2012 "Fierce Five" as well as the"Fierce Five" in 2016 "Final Five," U.S. women's Olympic gymnastics team. She also won a gold team medal during the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Gabby Douglas and Raisman are the only Americans to have two consecutive gold medals at this event. Raisman received silver medals in the individual all-aroundevent, as well as the floor exercise. She is the third-highest decorated American gymnast in Olympic history, behind Shannon Miller and Simone Biles and has won six Olympic medals.Raisman was also part of the gold-winning American teams in the 2011 and 2015 World Championships, and the world bronze medalist for floor exercise in 2011. She is also two-time champion of the national team on floor exercise (2012 2012, 2015) as well as the 2012 champion of the national team on the balance beam and five times a medalist in the all-around competition at the national championships (silver in 2016, bronze in 2010, 2011 and also in 2015). Inducted into the International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame in the year 2013.
