Jana Kramer, an actor and singer-songwriter who specializes in country pop music and songwriting, gained fame on television after she was cast as Alex in the third and final seasons on One Tree Hill. Jana Kramer's debut country album were featured in the episodes of the show which helped propel her debut album of 2012 into Top 20 in the Billboard 200. Thirty One (2015), the follow-up album in 2015, also reached into the Top Ten. When she finished the decade the year, she appeared on Dancing with the Stars. In 2021, her self-doubting album Voices came out. Jana Rae Kramer is a Michigan native, who grew up on country music. While she was pursuing a recording and acting career however, her screen debut took place in the independent horror movie Dead/Undead (2002) when she was still at high school. In the past, she appeared on several shows, including All My Children and CSI: NY before landing the recurring role as Noelle Davenport in NBC's Friday Night Lights in the Second season (2007-2008). Kramer went on to play Portia Ranson in 90210 (2008-2009) and Brooke Manning, in Entourage (2009), before she was cast in One Tree Hill by the CW as Alex Dupre. Kramer remained with the One Tree Hill team until half way through its final season (2012). Jana Kramer Kramer's run on One Tree Hill saw her signing a contract for a single with Elektra Records. In 2011 she released her modern music video for the love song of a country singer I Won't Let Go. The song was later featured on Jana Kramer, her debut album, which was released in 2012. The track reached into the Top Five on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart. Following a shift to her professional musical career, she continued acting and appeared in movies like Heart of the Country 2013 (which appealed to her fans) or Country Crush 2016 (which would be a hit with her music lovers). Kramer has released her second studio album Thirty One together with Warner Music Nashville, in October 2015. Her album, Thirty One was the Top Five Country Hit I Got the Boy, and her Duet Steven Tyler and Aerosmith performed in the album helped to make it third place on the Billboard 200 and number 10 in the country chart albums. Following a two-month run in the 22nd Dancing with the Stars season her final score was 4th. That same year she had a huge adult contemporary song with Straight No Chaser's Feels like Christmas.
