Awkwafina
Awkwafina has been described as an American actor and musician who started her career through innovative raps which addressed sexuality and racial identities with an edgy, comical perspective. She then expanded into Hollywood. Nora Lum began her musical career as a musician on the trumpet. Born in Forest Hills Queens, she was the daughter of Chinese immigrants as well as Korean immigrants. Jazz, classical and hip-hop studies began when she was just a teenager. While in the college years, she remained focused on her studies, and then studied women's studies as well as journalism. For a brief period of time, in Beijing, Mandarin language classes were also offered. She didn't start focusing on music until the time she completed her degree. After gaining viral fame on the Internet the song My Vag was a reaction to the song of Mickey Avalon's My Dick. It eventually made its way onto her debut album Yellow Ranger. It also included other viral hits like the body-positive Queef as well as the cheeky hometown tour NYC Bitche$1. The track that was published specifically linked to Awkwafinas NYC, her travel guide for 2015. She decided to pursue a career as an actor following the completion of her previous two ventures as a musician and author. As well as early shows that included Girl Code and Tawk - she appeared in movies Neighbors 2 Storks & Bad Rap. In 2018, her breakthrough role was in Dude Ocean's 8 as well as Crazy Rich Asians. That June she issued the EP in Fina We Trust.
